Privacy Policy
Your notes and reminders stay on your iPhone. Quiet Paper has no account, no ads and no analytics.
Last updated: November 3, 2026.
In short
- The publisher collects no data: no name, no email, no usage statistics, no advertising identifier.
- A note only leaves the app when you decide: a backup in your own iCloud, a share, or an AI agent you connect.
- Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
On your iPhone
Your notes, reminders, categories and settings are stored only on your device. Reminder notifications and the evening summary are prepared locally by the iPhone. Widgets and Siri read this data on the device, without going through the internet.
iCloud backup
When the backup is on (Settings › Data), a copy of your data is saved in your own iCloud, which the publisher cannot access. It is subject to Apple’s privacy policy. You can turn it off at any time.
AI agents (optional, Premium)
If you connect an AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT…), the app sends Quiet Paper’s relay an encrypted copy (AES-256-GCM) of your notes, reminders and categories, so the agent can read them and add to them.
- The relay runs on Cloudflare’s infrastructure, in the European Union. It only keeps encrypted data; the key stays on your iPhone and in the link you give the agent.
- Data is decrypted only in memory, while answering your agent. What the agent reads is then seen by the company providing that AI, under its own privacy policy.
- The relay erases everything about your iPhone 30 days after its last contact, or as soon as you disconnect your agents in the app (Settings › Connect an agent).
- Like any online service, Cloudflare technically processes the IP address of connecting devices to route requests. The publisher keeps no log of these connections.
Share with an AI and iOS sharing
“Share with an AI” and sharing a note go through the iOS share sheet: you choose the app that receives the text, and only the chosen note is sent, when you decide. The receiving app applies its own privacy policy.
Dictation
Dictation uses Apple’s speech recognition, only while you hold the screen to dictate. Depending on your iPhone, the audio is processed on the device or by Apple, under Apple’s privacy policy.
Calendar
If you add a reminder to Calendar, the app asks for write-only access and adds only the event you choose. It never reads your calendar.
Premium subscription
Purchase and renewal are handled by Apple. The publisher receives neither your contact details nor your payment information; the app only asks the App Store whether the subscription is active. This status stays on the device and is never exported.
Your rights
Since your data is on your iPhone, you can view, export (Settings › Data) and delete it at any time; deleting the app erases the local data. For any question or request about your data, including the relay’s, write to contact@lepixelai.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
